You can volunteer by contacting the church office (386) 454-1505 or by speaking with one of our pastors, deacons, or ministry leaders.

The harvest is plentiful! There are many areas you can serve at First Baptist from babies to choir to serving food. Talk to a church leader to find out specifics. In order to serve in our Children's or Student ministries, you must complete a background check.

"For the love of Christ compels us, because we concluded this: that one has deid for all, therefore all have died; and He died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for Him who for their sake died and was raised." 2 Corinthians 5:14-15

We offer nursery care for infants through 3s, provided their adult remains on campus, during our Sunday morning and Wednesday night activities. VPK through 5th grade make up our Children's Ministry.

We use the GROW Curriculum for both our Wednesday night and Kingdom Kids ministries, ensuring a consistent, Bible-centered approach that helps kids build a strong foundation in God’s Word through engaging lessons, activities, and age-appropriate teaching.

Kingdom Kids is our children’s church ministry offered during the main worship service each Sunday. This environment is designed to provide a safe, engaging, and Bible-centered experience for children. On the first Sunday of each month, we observe “Family Sunday,” where children in 1st-5th grade remain in the main service to worship alongside the entire church body, encouraging a shared, multigenerational worship experience.

During Kingdom Kids, children participate in a thoughtfully planned Bible lesson led by one of our ministry leaders, followed by a hands-on craft that helps apply and deepen the day’s teaching. Each gathering concludes with a fun, structured activity or game before children are dismissed to Life Connections.

June 3rd - August 12th- NO WEDNESDAY NIGHT ACTVITIES (RESUMES AUGUST 19TH)

On Wednesday nights, our Children’s Ministry is intentionally designed to help kids build friendships, have fun, and grow in their faith. The evening begins with game time in the gym from 5:30–6:30 PM, providing an exciting and welcoming environment for kids to connect with one another.

At 6:30 PM, all children gather together for a time of group worship before transitioning into age-appropriate Bible classes. During class time, kids learn God’s Word in a way that is engaging, understandable, and relevant to their stage of development. Classes are divided into four groups: PreK-Kindergarten, 1st-2nd Grade, 3rd-4th Grade, and 5th Grade.

The evening concludes with additional games and activities from 7:00–7:30 PM, giving kids more opportunities for fellowship, fun, and building lasting relationships with their peers and leaders. Through worship, biblical teaching, and meaningful connections, Wednesday nights provide a fun and faith-filled environment where children can grow in their relationship with Jesus.
